Oxygen Inhibitor
OPTIGARD DH 720 is a high-dispersion, metal-passivating, and chemically oxygen-binding amine derivative compound.
In steam generating systems, it protects against oxygen corrosion by chemically binding dissolved oxygen.
It cleans metal surfaces by reducing iron oxide and copper oxide deposits formed before the conditioning program.
It provides passive film protection by passivating iron, copper, and alloy surfaces.
Thanks to its high dispersion rate, it is carried by the steam and provides protection within the boiler, as well as in steam and condensate lines.
It supports increasing the pH in condensate lines.
It can be easily used in low- and high-pressure systems.
Its high concentration and low dosage make it economical.
Because it is organic, it does not affect conductivity.
It does not increase boiler blowdown requirements like sulfide-containing chemicals.
It increases the system's economic life and reduces maintenance and repair costs.
It provides economical operation because it does not cause energy consumption.
