REVERSE OSMOSIS ANTISCALANT - GENERAL ANTISCALANT
OPTIGARD ® PAC 85-A is a highly effective and safe liquid scale inhibitor/fouling agent developed for membrane protection in reverse osmosis systems, controlling scale deposits and reducing particle fouling in membrane separation systems. Thanks to its chemical composition, it single-handedly prevents the formation of deposits on virtually all minerals, ensuring high membrane efficiency.
OPTIGARD ® PAC 85-A extends membrane life and reduces the frequency of membrane cleanings.
It is highly effective at low application costs. It is effective in seawater, brackish water, and water reuse applications.
OPTIGARD ® PAC 85-A effectively controls calcium sulfate and barium sulfate deposits, including calcium carbonate.
OPTIGARD ® PAC 85-A eliminates the need for acid dosing in the system. It reduces operating and capital costs by eliminating the use of acid.
It is effective across a wide pH range.
It can be dosed using two different methods: neat or diluted.
It is safe for use in drinking water production.
It is compatible with coagulants and can be used with all types of equipment.
OPTIGARD® PAC 85-A demonstrates excellent results in membrane separation processes, including RO, NF, and EDR.
APPLICATION
For maximum efficiency, OPTIGARD® PAC 85-A should be added upstream of the static mixer or cartridge filter housing. The product is ready for use and can be used directly.
