Weld Spot Cleaning Product
OPTINOX HIT is a highly wetting agent designed for cleaning weld seams on stainless steel surfaces.
Even if a weld spatter inhibitor is used during welding on stainless steel, the resulting weld seam must be removed.
It neutralizes the surface by removing weld, heat treatment, and all types of corrosion and rust stains, pitting, and other impurities from stainless steel surfaces without damaging or yellowing the surface.
Suitable for AISI 304, 316, and 321 and its derivatives.
It has a very short reaction time. It is fast-acting and has strong etching properties.
It is washable with water and has a slow drying time.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Remove surface oils with OPTINOX B 100. Shake until a homogeneous mixture is achieved without opening the cap. Spray or apply with a suitable brush. After the reaction time, rinse thoroughly with plenty of clean water.
The dipping process is particularly recommended for those who weld frequently. Metal parts are placed in a basket and immersed in a immersion tank using a shaker or crane.
Do not apply to hot surfaces. Wear goggles, gloves, apron, etc. when applying. If in contact with skin, rinse thoroughly with water.
USE DOSAGE
Reaction Time: (Cold draw at 20°C) 15-60 minutes. Consumption: 150-250 ml/kg
