Stainless Surface Passivation Product for the Healthcare Industry

OPTINOX CITRON 140 is a high-quality chemical mixture containing special inhibitors and surfactants formulated for the cleaning and passivation of stainless steel surfaces, special alloys, titanium, and precious metals.

It guarantees the highest possible chromium oxide levels by removing all free iron oxide formations on duplex and austenitic stainless steel surfaces.

It can be used safely in combined machines, ultrasonic systems, and washing units.

It meets the requirements of ASTM A967, ASTM A380, ASTM B600, and AMS 2700 standards.

It is also compatible with magnetic systems and non-magnetic surfaces.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Before using OPTILINE CITRON 140, surfaces should be cleaned of impurities, oil, dirt, and work residue with OPTILINE ULTRASOL. If passivation is to be performed in ultrasonic machines, the workpieces to be passivated should be: Stainless or polypropylene tanks are immersed in a solution prepared by adding 1 part OPTINOX CITRON 140 to 6-13 parts ultrapure water at a working temperature of 40-80°C for 5 to 30 minutes. Titanium parts should be operated at 80°C. After the process, the parts should be rinsed with ultrapure water. Drying ovens or compressed air can be used to speed up the drying process. The solution should be replenished at the same rate as it decreases over time. The pH of the pool should be +0.1 units higher than the initial pH. It works effectively in the pH range of 1.8-2.0.

Use by diluting 1/7 - 1/14 with ultrapure water.
